To begin training as ADI you must have held a full
UK drivers licence for over 4 years.
There are three parts you need to pass in order to
qualify as a driving instructor.
PART 1 Theory and Hazard Perception
Test.
PART 2 ADI Driving Test.
PART 3 Instructional Techinques Test.
You have two years to pass all three parts in order
to qualify as a driving instructor begining from the
date you pass your part 1. You are only allowed 3 attempts
at part two and three.
